  • Water scarcity in Habaswein
    long queues of donkey carts stretching more than half a kilometer in Habaswein of wajir south. As a result of the severe water shortages, the cost of 200 litres drum has more than doubled and the already limited access to water for the poor majority has been worsened. Moreover, as a result of the shortages, the water sanitation and hygiene status of the population has seriously deteriorated and the potential for the outbreak of water related diseases cannot be underestimated.
